This new Dissidia game is weird. You pull for characters, but then you also have to pull for moves. So you can get a character but they won't have any of their moves unless you pull for them. Also it's PvP focused, but it's not PvP, you're comparing your PvE completion times against other people. Designwise it just feels like it's all over the place.

A potential remake of X or any other game in the series could be a standalone game, not chopped up into several parts, but only if CS1 team is not disbanded, can effectively transfer its developments to other teams, or takes on the next remake itself. VIIR is a trilogy largely for technical reasons: they said they simply couldn't make a full-fledged project of VII's scale as a single game, and I believe them kek, cause these retards have been trying for 16+ years to figure out how to create something that doesn't resemble MVP (XIII-2 and Rebirth are exceptions). The last game in the series that feels like a finished product is XII, but it's important to remember that this was achieved through a five-year full production cycle, an unimaginable development timeline at the time. XIII and XV, for example, didn't have such luxury. They had a lot of time for pre-production lmao, but not for full production.
