If you ever did want to try Counterside it would be pretty easy to catch up. But the only reason to play it would be for the story, pvp and any other stuff like raids is dead or would be impossible for a new player to get into. But it seems like they are making it so new players can jump into SS without needing to know about the CS story so it should be fine.
