>Are mystery dungeon games allowed in this thread?
Generally yes, most mystery dungeon games(Shiren the Wanderer, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Etrian Mystery Dungeon, etc.) can be considered roguelikes
>Is Elin/Elona allowed?
Yes, they are roguelikes. Please do not post your Little Sister farms
>Is Dwarf Fortress allowed?
If it's adventure mode, yes. But adventure mode is boring. /tg/ has a general for fortress mode playthroughs but you can share here too!

We're breaking new ground here. Never before has a roguelike allowed us to live out our dreams of being a Sparkledog.

I don't think anyone is playing *bands these days, it will need a new fotm variant
>>
>>561007110 #
The things I'd like the most are:
>an Esper rework to give them more damaging options that aren't negated by force bubble (Kinesis mutations suck dick and Sunder Mind requires you to wait for cooldowns repeatedly)
>An AI rework that makes followers more reactive to shit like damaging fluids (I cheat to Obliterate Red Jells on sight and I'm proud of it) and easily avoidable Instakill attacks
>Perhaps a revamped legendary spawn/history system that doesn't feel like you're playing slots for loved by robots guys
>Maybe at lower priority but more Galgal tier enemies for different factions so that the player has to effectively pick which factions to befriend instead of just maxing robots rep and being done with the whole system
>>
>>561003871
I peeked with clairvoyance, before you start the quest the back bay is empty
>>561021513
false, this doesn't allow you to be a sparkledog, it lets you live out your dream of pretending to be a sparkledog
>>

>Maybe at lower priority but more Galgal tier enemies for different factions so that the player has to effectively pick which factions to befriend instead of just maxing robots rep and being done with the whole system
I think I would rework the entire system so that you have to pick a side between opposing factions with lore about why those factions are enemies. In other words, make reputation gains zero sum. Right now it's just a matter of grinding long enough if you want everyone to love you, because you can get net positive rep from the right legendaries. When it's a grind you don't actually have to make many choices other than realizing that certain legendaries are terrible to kill.
>>
>>561045281
...or you can continuously wait for the bookbinder to restock until you get all the shrodinger pages you need.
I feel like the game would improve by a lot if thirst was more of an issue, or if there was some other built in turn limit that prevented you from abusing game mechanics to hell and back.
>>
Infinite resources and respawning enemies in any roguelike, ever? Miss me with that shit.
>>
>>561045651
If those things are so boring and tedious then just don't do them, outside of the secret boss and maybe a couple of robot type enemies you definitely don't need 50 polygel'd nectars either
>>
I want to try a silly literal caveman run in cata but I'm not sure what settings to use and where I'd have to artificially limit things.
I started one a few hours ago with default world settings, but with the Dino mod. With a naked, illiterate, high strength, 4 intelligence dude spawning in the modded "dino nest" scenario, intending to avoid using any technology, modern medicine, firearms, or talking to anyone. But then I just started gathering rocks for throwing and clearing a small town for easy food and crafting materials. Now he's standing in a pawn shop surrounded by baseball bats, knives, helmets and such. I'm not sure if this will work. Even a caveman would probably grab the cool shiny bat made of sky rock instead of using a primitive wooden club, or use the cool knife instead of a sharp rock.
I think I should restart with cities and civilization set to 0, maybe with the innawoods mod. But would that be any sort of challenge? No cities means almost no zombies. Could one fight dinosaurs instead of zombies as the main combat staple? Maybe some other mod would be good for this?
>>

Nethack is slop because you can altar farm and roll for polymorphed items

I have the same question. I knew you autists would just call me a retard and tell me to play BN so I started playing DDA a couple of weeks ago. I have now played it for about 400 hours. I don't understand why people say the game is like a real life simulator. It's true to an extent, but not so much that it ruins your experience. I tried BN a couple of days ago and it doesn't seem very good. Rougelikes are supposed to be hard to get into, and BN seems like the exact same game but slopified and designed to appeal to the masses, with all the problems and inconveniences that I now know how to deal with heart taken out. CDDA is the intended way to play, and BN is for those who had neither the patience nor skill to play it properly. Or at least that's what I understand.
I don't get why people praise it so much here.
>>
>>561053607
It ruins my immersion.
>>
>>561053863
You understand nothing.
You do realise that BNs is basically just DDA from before the retards molested it too much with some extra shit added don't you?
Of course you don't ffs.
>>
>>561053863
Obviously the original Cata by whales is the intended experience.

I had an unarmed character armed with either a cestus or scrap knuckles for a long time and I tried to punch a zapper once. It didn't go well. He didn't have the brawler trait, but I was googling it at some point and someone said you can still throw things. So your best bet is to keep a stack of like 30 rocks or "chunks of steel", that you can hold as a big single stack in your hands for faster throwing, to throw at zappers/boomers/bloated zombies early, then eventually get better things you can throw. Throwing is shit for the first two-three levels, but if you kite single zombies away from groups, you can just wait till they're in spear range to shotgun them with rocks, preferably having them step into 400 move cost bushes so you could throw four times as many rocks at them from point blank, then take one step away and throw another 4x worth of rocks as they pay another quadrupled move cost to get out of the bush tile. If you do that, you can level throwing really fast, then probably toggle exp gain for it off because I'm not sure if there's any point in going past level like 5-6 for it.
>>
>>561072910
Hitchhiker says that the cestus is non-conductive but that the scrap knuckles aren't.
>>
>>561060461
I would play BN but not having pockets really annoys me
>>
>>561074062
I like pockets too but I crossed over to BN when they made fire have magical noise cancelling properties so buildings on fire don't draw in zombies. I put up with a lot of shit for realism's sake like all the shit they did to vehicles but now they're doing bizarro changes with no realism to fall back on?
>>
>>561074062
nta and i also like pockets but you can get most of that utility by favoriting items.

i actually prefer dda but it's because the menus are better, you can grab all around without needing to use aim, you can favorite the weapon not the sheath it goes into, you can read details on items from the w wield menu by pressing e on them, that kind of stuff.

>>561053863
how tf do you stack up 400 hours of gaming after "a couple weeks" ? i probably don't even have that many hours across all forks and i've played cata for years
>>
>>561072910
I'll try leveling throwing then, it's not like I can get within punching range of the fluorescent husks or the stormbringers anyways.
>>
>>561075272
>how tf do you stack up 400 hours of gaming after "a couple weeks"?
It's literally the only thing I've been doing in my free time other than 4chan.
>>
>>561073724
Might have been the latter then. I just switched to throwing for those guys from that point on. You could just kite one zapper away, quicksave just in case, and try punching it. You'll probably still live if he's alone, regardless. Having the option to just pelt zombies with disposable objects like rocks or steel chunks that you can get by smashing broken cars is nice to have anyway and you lose nothing by using it occasionally. Once you get throwing to like level 4-5 you become really accurate even at longer ranges, so it's always a nice tool to soften up crowds you can handle before you engage them in melee. You can easily kill approaching ferals with rocks before they start throwing theirs, for example, so you can eventually stop hiding behind corners or lamp posts for them.

Try playing a gnoll fighter, you have enough flexibility to confidently respec at any point you want. Found a good weapon? Use it. Found some good spells? Use them. You'll never be as good as other races when it comes to something they have trained the entire game for, but you will be good enough at anything.

The main thing is understanding how threatening an enemy is to you then not being a murder hobo and leaving things alone. There's a lot of exp available in crawl so ignoring a potentially lethal fight like an early Ogre at the edge of line of sight doesn't impact you long term, this is probably the main thing that people who can't win Crawl don't do. The game is too long to keep putting yourself in situations where you have a even a small chance of dying because eventually you'll lose to the rng.

Next is when you know you can win a fight normally or with a consumable, ability, is that will it cause problems afterwards. This is why MiBe is good to learn because you can win most fights for the majority of the game letting you learn about more enemies, but you also learn that you can't just berserk constantly. Once you're slowed and can't berserk again you'll be killed by any enemies that the noise of your previous fight attracted, so you have to check how far you are from safety beforehand and consider luring things back towards the stairs. The other related basic tactic is not to walk towards enemies you've just seen and to always let them come to you. Walking towards enemies reveals more tiles from the fog of war and makes it more likely you'll spot other enemies which will get involved in your fight.

Skilling is less important than tactics for the most part, even if you're optimally choosing skills to level you'll still die quickly to dangerous enemies if they found you slowed after a berserk. Stealth is extremely valuable and probably the main difference between bad and good players, good ones will get more stealth and start earlier usually immediately where it has more value, though you can forgo it if you're just going to wear plate armor as soon as you find it. But Fighting is the most important skill for every character even mage backgrounds, frail species and those with negative aptitude and you should be levelling it pretty much all the time.

I’ve been working on a game for the past month, got to the point where I feel comfortable posting it for peoples thoughts and opinions on the gameplay, might be a little buggy for its first release.

The game takes place in 1,400 BC, I’m going for a biblical timeline while also being as archeologically correct as possible.

I’ve always loved Dwarf Fortress Adventure Mode, so I was trying to go for that type of vibe, with a world that feels alive and is always changing, also trying to go for a mount and blade type of party system and eventually a way to command troops in a similar way.

If you’re interested in playing I would suggest giving the guide a look before doing your first play through as you will die quickly if you have no food or water.

One stray application of death damage because the lightning staff randomly chose to shoot at a wasp instead of the boss next to me, and now my Chamakana is disabled. I deal 500k damage per Chamakana hit and I can't use it on the mid-boss.

is bulwark bad?
i've mostly been playing that, but magic damage gets pretty dangerous later, it seems resistance is capped
>>
>>561309764
does it actually boost str?
>>
>>561310340
Bulwark is bad yeah, it has decent defenses and offenses (a counterstrike Assault will blow enemies up) but it has the issues you observed, pretty much no damage mitigation against magical attacks. It also has poor mobility (only Rush to get close to enemies).
A class like Rogue can achieve better defense (Trained Reaction works vs all damage types, wear robes for all resist stat)), not forced to play melee (fan of knives things first) and better mobility (tumble/disengage), wider arsenal of disables (garotte will silence most arcane casters). It's a much better class in comparison, as long as you're willing to learn to press more than 5 buttons.
>>
>>561310630
what about the other two you mentioned?
although i don't dislike rogue, stylistically i would prefer not to play a sneaky cunt

This is why you shouldn't play melee in Achra.
>>
>>561311512
>Mindslayer
Starts out slow and scales WILL/CUN instead of STR/DEX. Starts out a bit weaker than regular berserker/bulwark, but after maxing out Resonant Focus it's just a better class. The telekinetic weapon is just a free attack every turn and it works even if you're frozen/confused.
Main points of interests are Forcefield, which more or less makes you invincible for a brief amount of time, so make sure to use it when in melee range vs randbosses. Frenzied Focus allows you to just clear out entire groups of enemies, although it's still recommended to 1v1 whenever possible. Kinetic Surge (requires unlock) is just a dash that also digs out walls (you rarely want to throw enemies around).
>Arcane Blade
Start out slow but you can just level lightning and float 3 points in Chain Lightning and play Archmage until lvl 20. Once then, grab a staff (staves have +damage on procs, which affects Arcane Combat), then use Arcane Strike/Stunning Blow to just proc lightning like crazy.
You have Blink/Teleport to get out of dangerous situations.
Stack spellpower (unlike other melee classes, who only need a bigger stick and maxed attribute). Get a clear mind torque to deal with silences (or a mental cleanse infusion).
>>
>>561312421
neat, this is a lot of helpful insight.
before i try them out, are there any other classes i should look into? i noticed that you can unlock classes, and i've unlocked a couple already
>>
>>561313073
>Oozemancer
You shouldn't have unlocked this, since the unlock is late game, but it's seen as a pretty easy mode class as it's very tanky.
>Solipsist
This is also a random unlock but it's from a lvl 20 zone (Caldera). It's a well rounded caster, psionic can't be silenced and they still have plenty of range. Has several sleep abilities, which is good if you just want to run away. Has Inner Demons, which creates clones of an enemy, so you can use it to wreck anything that isn't sleep immune.

Do people like Angband style base towns or does it always make the game too scummy? I mean it's a pretty simple game. I can't really remember the process of learning it as it was so long ago now. I think I found a branch guide and learned to manage my own skill XP and things just took off from there. I dont know how much Mino Zerker has changed but frankly the idea of NOT being able to win with that combination is strange to me. Press O and Tab, and zerk at the vaguest hint of difficulty and you win. Vaults 5, the lungs, or getting unlucky with resistances is really all that can challenge you in a standard 3 rune run with MiBe

Yeah it's an odd duck for a roguelike, being focused so heavily on having a huge array of crazy powers and managing their cooldowns and shit. Weird fit for a game that was originally supposed to be about Tolkien where magic powers and shit were rare and usually subtle.

I've been trying to snap the best quality picture of every enemy I dared to fight up close, and this is the second time I've broken my camera this run. >Couple of QoL options that would make this better for a pleb like me:
1) Quicksave/daddy saves - it's a single player game, give people with real-life obligations an option to progress without having to spend most of time on running back and forth to saves. Sleeping bag is a step in the right direction, but single use makes it barely any better.. I wouldn't mind having a multple-use sleeping bag, but with a risk of losing part of coins in held inventory. One can make argument about save scum, but it's already the case by just running back and forth to nearby camp to R&R. Save those of us peasants with little time to game so we can spend it on cool tactical battles instead of clicking and scrolling through local maps.

I left Mars so now I have the Quasimorph counter to deal with
What happens if it goes super high? Does it spawn enemies out of nowhere? Because I really really like making a huge loot pile of literally every items on the level in front of the elevator.

enemies are not spawned out of nowhere, dead and living enemies will be turned into stronger enemies depending on what planet you are near, the higher the meter the higher chance that the higher tier enemies will spawn and they get additional strength depending on how high the meter is. At the highest level all enemies are instantly transformed and a boss is spawned, all enemies and the boss will know where you are and charge towards you once this happens.

>dead enemies
Uh really, so I can't clear the floors and go back safely to gather the loot? I guess it's still possible for short missions

Has anyone done the CDDA pizzaiolo npc quest where you burn down a restaurant? It's one of those horrible escort quests where you can't even control the npc, that once again almost got me killed. I managed to finish it, but he has another task for me now, and he's not saying what it is before I agree. Saying something like "let's keep dunking on these rival restaurants". Anyone know what he wants? If it's another escort quest, I think I'll pass.

i got quite far using Paragon and Yu's gift to create a single hemoglobin super soldier minion. With some smarter skill choices it probably could have won (going so far in to repulsion wasn't really worth it). Granted im not on c32.

By writing do you mean physical notes or ingame diary entires? Ingame entries are fast to jot down if you want that. Also, aren't antibiotics listed as a health effect? I know some things aren't, like antiparasitic drugs, but if you take things like antidepressants, antifungals, antiasthmatic drugs and such, they're listed as an effect in the @ or N windows when active.
>>
>>561880070
Paragon is a decent idea, but I don't think Yu is the way to go for Paragon. You would get more buff stacks by having 100 speed to apply stacks fast instead of applying a shitload of stacks one time and then waiting ages to do it again.

>>
>>561880070
I can't be bothered reinstalling but this would probably be straightforward with Yu just stacking poise with Ihra and whatever the class is that gives +50% stacks. Grab a bunch of projection, the thing that TPs them away from you on hit, a single point in astral kinesis and Asi malek for clearing mobs and then the inflame+healing blood skill. Stand still or prayer triggers stand ground and projection, the projection hits a bunch of times and each hit adds a load of poise from the martial+astral prestige which also adds poise scaling damage to astral damage iirc. As long as you don't get tethic monk'd you'd be fine.

I don't know if they changed it in later versions but isn't the default evolution speed set to 2? So you literally have to just move it only once to 1 if you want the slowest evolution speed. I have it set at 1 myself atm since I'm still learning the game
>>
>>561916467
Whoever is developing that garbage game has thought of the most antifun features imaginable. 1. Grinding is mandatory
2. You have to grind to get nothingburger equipment. This continues even in endgame
3. The enemies get to be way way stronger than you for free with quite literally 0 (zero) ways for you to deal with it
4. Content for the game is at a complete standstill despite money from fans being in limbo on it for more than half a decade now

You should literally just play something else. I tolerate playing a lot of games even some blazing hot garbage ones and Stoneshard is simply not one of them

yeah, hulks are very rare
there are many branching paths from tough zombie to hulk, so only a small quantity get filtered down to hulk and most everything else ends up as something else

Same was happening to me until I realized that inscriptions are more important than anything else. Attrition or getting one shot is almost never what kills you. What kills you is getting CC'd repeatedly or getting stuck in a bad positition. Being able to remove or ignore CC on demand or turn into the flash and leave is how you avoid those situations, and your overall survivability skyrockets depending on how frequently and how long you can do that.
>>
>>561979181
Submit the fix? Isn't that how development works? If you just wait you'll get whatever someone else finds important.

Webnovels are just about the only other hobby as long-term sisyphean and pointless as traditional roguelikes so good job on taking that next step in your evolution anon

Immortality Simulator in Wuxiaworld is a lot like RI if you can get over the first few arcs and the MC's ridiculous cheat (he speaks a lot about having unlimited resets and things like that but ends up actually using it about as much as FY did the Spring Autumn Cicada) but that's an ongoing translation and all previous ones were ass. Legitimately a very well done setting once you start consistently getting information about the ancient cultivation world though

I read a couple chapters of IS but it didn't hook me. FY's story is a very human struggle for survival, he is always on the wire, scheming and plotting and fighting to barely live another day, while the whole world plots to suppress him and his ambition.
But IS doesn't have that kind of tension at least not in the chapters I read.

By the way, there is also a webnovel about being isekai'd into a roguelike. it is unfinished but i enjoyed it.

Well at least that wasn't your fault. I'm newish at the game and my character recently almost died because I had him sleep without an alarm in late june when it was particularly hot, wearing the usual equipment. I think his torso temperature was pink the whole time, and the rest was in the high yellows. Woke up 9 hours later, the last 3 hours being "dehydrated". It was still mega hot, so he had to stand on the roof of the second floor buck naked for like 30 minutes before the water kicked in and the dehydrated status cleared, it was the only place where body temperature was green and even then it was like 25ish. Sweating is no joke. I'm thinking of placing a steel frame with a vehicle cooler or something in the room just in case, but I'm not sure if that would be effective for an actual room and not a small car.

You mean those "cooling unit" furniture items? I'm not sure if they actually work, you can't even build them using the construction menu, so I think those are just spare part pinatas. Dunno how temperature is actually handled in cata, but I don't think it's like SS13 where gases and temperature are actually updated per tile each tick. I get the impression it's more of a primary ambient temperature that depends on outside temp, whether it's indoors, z level, wind if you're outside and such, plus a stack of contributing factors like proximity to burning fire and "hot air"/"cold air" tiles. Or do you mean 3 tile vehicles going through a window, with a "cold air" spawning vehicle cooler tile inside, and an exhaust muffler tile outside?

>Wait, you're not still playing DDA, are you?
I am. I like it. pls no bulli. I may try another fork at some point, but I like what I'm playing now. I dunno if it's actually true, but I've heard mention that some other forks don't even have the pocket system. I guess storage works as just volume capacity you get to fill there or something. I know inventory management isn't something most people enjoy, but I like my bag packing simulator. Although I recently bought an empty "pressurized tank" from some vendor because I thought it might be useful at some point or something, and with it in my backpack I bulk picked up the other junk I bought using the "pick up" window while unloading my car. Ended up with 12 lumps of mild steel in the pressurized tank with no way of unloading it. I mean it's just junk anyway and I'm sure if I ever even use the lumps, crafting will auto draw them from the tank if it's nearby, but it's still kinda funny.

BN is the closest to what Cataclysm used to be, but has new stuff and bug fixes
DDA has even more and different new stuff but some of the new stuff makes the game worse instead of better
TLG was made by somebody who saw DDA's new and worse stuff and decided they could make it even worse and leaned into it hard.

I think you should play BN first.

There are a couple of themed shops like that, the gimmick of that specific one is being super overpriced. You can also find a "one of a kind rings" one where you can find EV/AC rings with modifiers other than the default ones since they reworked them and other stuff that doesn't normally spawn
>>
>>562087796
NPCs can't aim if you're hitting them in the face fast enough (because NPCs use reciprocal mechanics to players), but monsters don't have this penalty
you can also use martial arts to disarm NPCs and cannot disarm monsters
but mostly monsters don't use their special attacks very often and you can just EMP (with the EMP bionic) or shoot or melee bots faster than they can shoot back if you can attack them quickly enough
use an MP4 or M16A4 or coilgun to test that out against some light turrets while wearing full survivor armor or better to test it out

basically what I'm saying is that you should have your gun at the ready if you're going to be fucking around with consoles

It shouldn't be that hard if you play safe and read what the enemies do. Hep is OP in general, and the devs gave Deep Elf a gigantic buff with parchments. Deep Elf can easily cast low level magic from every spell school without even using many skill points, so having tons of parchments laying around gives them a lot of tools to handle bad situations.

Sea of slop. LLMs can now put together features for you but they can't generate something worth playing that's on (You). I was messing around with one recently but without a good idea for something unique no one will ever be interested in the slop output that's just a basic clone of an old classic roguelike.

How is Quasimorph after a few updates? It's been a long time since I've played but I enjoyed Stoneshard and thought Quasimorph was on it's way to being just as good. I think I went a melee build for the most part.
>>
>>562217962
I believe knoife is piercing so at least it's not hitting duggur's immunity to slashing. And looks like you're a melee spec class to begin with.
>>
>>562225929
I only played it a bit a while ago, so far it seems mostly the same grinding for ship parts and reputation, there's probably some stuff that was changed and added but I didnt really notice, the gameplay is the same
>>
>>562226661
Yeah I got the Cobra class very early which is about throwing shit and get big melee buffs, it's pretty funny, I also summoned and killed another baron on the last floor cause my poor girl was starving and had to eat some long pig
I cant really do it here since im on the moon and there's quasis, but this is the merc that doesnt get infections so on Mars or that one earth station I can just live off the land by dismembering corpses for meat and bones to throw, and rags to heal wounds, pretty great to ignore medicine and food and carry moar LOOT
>>
>>562227431
You can just print sorbent for free so infection is kinda of a nothingburger.
>>

Sure but you probably cant go around gorging yourself on raw meat and bandaging yourself with toilet paper without bringing a couple stacks that you have to print and pack and ugh, its just convenient

The assets are very nice but not AI I got them from itch, I had to make some small pixel adjustments and create the sprite equip overlays myself. The code is like 80% Claude, I posted in the last thread the dungeon gen algorithms which came from the cogmind dev's blog. I mostly wanted to just mess around with agent coding though I didn't have a good idea for anything to make an interesting game. I think anyone can make a complete roguelike with these tools as they are now with just a bit of effort but like I said you still need a good idea first. I think we will really get a massive wave of garbage unfortunately.

First time exploring a lab. I didn't know it was a lab at first, I just found a random ladder behind a vent in a field, and went down looking for rubber cement for some recipes thinking it was a sewer maintenance room. Then I figured I'd test the full set of hub gear to see how it fared againt the threats there. Well, at least this first floor wasn't hard, the only thing that wounded me for I think 9 damage was a turret on wheels shooting M855 ammo. Now the question on my mind is, how do I loot all of this? There's just so much stuff down there, is there anything I should look for? I can't possibly use or carry all of these chems and weird chemistry gadgets. The place is filled with creature samples and mutants. I want neither cybernetics nor mutations for this character, but I have 2 npcs that are just on crafting duty. One of them has the "frail" trait, so I'm thinking of trying to mutate that away if it's possible. Is it?
>>
>>562311029
i mean how much spoilers do you want
>>
>>562311905
Is that referring to mutation possibilities or what to loot? I'm fine with spoilers for mutations. For loot, I guess I could tinker with everything the place has at some point, so if there's some super secret cool thing that's a nice surprise, I guess I could live without knowing everything. But like, is there anything obvious I should look for in terms of items, as a quick first looting pass? Like, I heard activity suits were "good" or something, and there's a ton of them there. I haven't explored the entire lab, just what I could access through normal doors, and keeping away from the yellow zones that seem to need one of those 5 point harnesses for some reason according to one sign. I also had 2 science cards on me at the time, so I opened 2 of the containment zones with the bigger mutants. I'll bring more later to open the rest.
>>
>>562311029
>Now the question on my mind is, how do I loot all of this?
You need to mark the location and bring a car, then prepare yourself for the mind numbing task of \ dragging several hundred pounds of loot to the surface. Building a basket on wheels in a lab is pointless because you can't drag vehicles up or down stairs.
>>
So, uh, it's my 10th day in cata (DDA) and I kind of have enough food now for the next like 900 days.
What's stopping me from holing up in a shack and reading all of my books for the next who knows how long? Will I end up having to face extremely strong zombies due to evolution, or does evolution not affect places you've been to before?
>>
>>562320674
I don't remember if revealed zombies can still evolve, but the first evolution phase is what, 30 days? You have time to fuck around a little bit before the other cities start getting filled with skeletal juggernauts.
>>
Okay so I strapped a laser rifle on top of my car so now my cata run is basically over
>>
>>562319728
>Building a basket on wheels in a lab is pointless because you can't drag vehicles up or down stairs.
Make a folding cart, then when you get to the stairs, fold it, drag it and the pile of loot upstairs, then unfold and use AIM to put the loot back in.
Worked in DDA when I last played it, still works in BN.
>>
>>562329893
Thanks, I'll try it.
>>
>>562320674
can't you just change the settings to lower evolution by time if you don't want to play that way?
>>
>>562333868
You can change the evolution scale at any time, yeah. It won't change zombies that have already been generated, but will alter their future evolutions the next time they pop into the reality bubble

might be the wrong place to ask to i figure people here might know; what was the kinda roguelite it was on nexfes maybe a year or so ago, you're in a modern city and the gameplay kinda depends on your class like a burglar stealths around and steals thing, then maybe silly things like being a clown that just causes chaos. i think it was a sequel.

>>
>>562314215
honestly i dont really raid labs because the new experimental means there isnt anything useful to me usually. unless you want to mutate, or you want to start doing chemistry. you can find the stuff to make your own bombs/gunpowder in there, but its so easy to just raid military bases i dont get the point.

maybe someone else can update you on its value, ive just mostly given up on them except for poking my head in every once and a while to see if anythings changed
>>
>>562336435
Idk what this is but it looks cool!
>>
>>562336435
Was the mistake that you took a mission that will take 6 months to get to but you have less than 1 month to complete?
>>
>>562369884
Every time you travel in Quasimorph the factions do stuff and grow stronger while you're just sitting in your ship so you can get outscaled
The mission disappeared after the timer and I can try it on someone else, but this time I will make sure to check that their HQ isn't at the far end of the solar system
