I dont necessarily mind nerfing Victors lifesteal i just hate how they did it. Its unintuitive. It would be like if they nerfed venator by changing his weapon damage scaling from item investment instead of his bullet damage, or if they nerfed someone like paige by making her get reduced "ability range" from items instead of nerfing the items.They could make diminishing returns scale differently with lifesteal as a whole. But that also lacks consistency.Id just make it so his aura itself applied reduced lifesteal or even healing. I dont think getting mystic reverb on his 1 was really the issue, just getting stat checked by aura.This change makes interesting items like spiritual overflow and MysRev no where near as good. And going leech instead of infuser was a way to play gun.Victor is built around lifesteal. Ive played around with mystic regen after building 1ap into ulty. Its a kind of neat style but kind of braindead. Poke until ult it up then yolo then poke again...Without good lifesteal its hard to engage. I like the power shift from aura into his 1 and 3 but reducing his lifesteal also hurts those playstyles.
