Is this franchise salvageable? It feels like they pulled out of the irony-poisoned shitpit they were in for the last decade only to plummet into a literal baby-friendly zero-edge shitpit instead
They're going to age up Sonic using time travel in the movie to roughly around the age of game Sonic and this is going to be used as the reason he moves out of his parents house and becomes a wanderer again. Knuckles and Tails are implies to still live there and help Sonic when they can. Shadow is out there by himself as well and Amy goes back to her timeline in the end. I have not seen any plans for a sneak peak or reveal of a movie 5 yet but that's probably going to change within a year or so.
