Often the nade will float away from the objective and do its final detonation too far to trigger the destruction of the objectives. Outside of that, it's great for clearing a bot drop. Usually 2 will be enough to wipe a ship-full. Less effective on Squids since they have flyers. Pretty good on bugs, but they are more mobile and can get out of the AOE quicker.
