Manosaba was amazing all the way until the very end. I'm incredibly happy with it. It's ended up as my favorite murder mystery VN. Anyone who enjoys death game stuff, madoka (or similar cute + dark and suffering content) or wild, twisty stories will find something to love here. Here are my few nitpicks, though:The trial gameplay is pretty rudimentary. It's Danganronpa Lite. But since you don't need to match your evidence with the thing you're objecting to when you object, so you can just brute force if if you don't actually know what the answer is. And there's just the one system. So on a gameplay level it's weaker, but it also doesn't have distracting bad minigames either.There are some scenes that could definitely use some CGs that didn't get them. Sometimes the game just tells you there's a scary monster or something bad happening and the game doesn't describe it or show it. But apparently with the release of the Switch version they'll be adding more CGs, so this might get fixed at least somewhat.Some of the bad ends feel tacked on or poorly explained. What was the mirror monster that killed Ema and why did it never come up again? What was the thing with Sherry's voice that lived in the freezer and killed Hiro and why did IT never come up again? There are also just a lot of unceremonious or simple ones. These stick out compared to the really good ones.I have a ton of positive things to say about Manosaba, but it would be hard to voice the best of them without spoiling things or being overly vague.

You have to use your imagination while reading the fight scenes. They detail what the protagonist does, etc., but I miss more movement, sprites and effects on the screen on many occasions. I ended up mimicking the protagonist’s attacks while imagining them, since he doesn’t use weapons 99% of the time, just martial arts and some "ki" like techniques, so I guess it’s not so bad if you put in the effort.
