You could do cool stuff once you knew about the system to overcome some crazy odds it was great.

The only time that "crowd control" pulls ahead of "killing the enemy is the best crowd control" is when the enemy force is too great to casually kill. However, in the Swedes infinite wisdom, the only enemies tough enough where an EMS stun would be convenient are enemies that are outright immune to EMS.
