Most of the damage I take comes from spells that still do damage on a successful saving throw. But it's funny for me to see some enemies straight up give up on trying to damage me because the AC plus reduction is too strong.I definitely long rest a lot more than in a party though. After one or two encounters I'm out of spell slots and need to recharge.

Myrkul down but I used all the DPS spell scrolls I had saved up. A handful of Lightning Bolt but 2 Chain Lightnings, like 3 Minor Elementals and one regular Elemental, and also a Cone of Cold. Most of my time went to trying to AoE Myrkul while crowd controlling the necromites. He healed a few times because I was trying to multitask.
