I did a quest for Dr. Michel being blackmailed, got a name about a man involved named Banes, asked Captain Anderson about him, and was told to discuss it with Kahoku. Welp, I've just finished Black Geyser.It's ok. If you have nothing else to play, then there's this game.In terms of male romances, Bjalla is cute. Jade is recruited way too late around chapter 4 (there are 5 chapters in the game), and there's an extra hag sex to be had (but non romantic). You get to have repeatable sex with the first 2 at some point.You can make your own party of 5 so you don't have to deal with named companions, but if you decide to use the companions, there are 9. 4 you get at the first city which you get to very quickly in the game, the other 5 you get wandering around and through sidequests.The story is generic, you find out you're a bastard son of some lord so you go and claim lordship, go through adventures and learn about the curse of greed in the land and try to solve it, culminating in fighting a demon-god at the end.Lots of stuff are in it to push the story or sidequest forward. For example: there is a time travel component that happens once in the story, there are ghosts in the story to give quests and whatnot, but they don't really feel organic.There is stealth in this game, and each NPC has some view cone but idk if it does anything because I'm pretty sure there have been times where my thief was in the viewcone of an NPC but didn't get detected.As for choice and consequence the game world is supposed to have greed affect the cities (NPCs attack each other, looting happens, etc.)I experienced looters appearing in maps after the Greed bar has reached a certain level and they quickly looted enemies that I've killed and thought it was cool.There are also instances where you can simply have a thief pickpocket key items without going through the usual combat.Since the companions are so few, there are only a few instances when they will leave your party, in terms of romances, this also happens (but will still be able to be put in your party as long as rival isn't there)The absolute worst thing about the game are its loading times
