I don't like the balance model focused around IDs having keywords. Storywise/RR(RIP) they cant manage well their 2/3 keywords(usually), while they become centerpieces on MDs due to MD Gifts being focused on the ability to have a skill that apply said keyword. I just finished Canto 5. It's making me realize that the thing I love about this story is the way the characters clash. A lot of millennial writing just does vacuous bickering but Limbus somehow makes it really entertaining. Partly it's that the characters are all so funny but also that the things they argue about are normally connected to the story and the stakes in some way. Ishmael clashing with the entire cast during the first half of Canto 5 was a great example of this. I wish more games had this kind of writing.
