Funnily enough, I actually think playing it with Vyranoth is better since it at least gives you a winning match-up against slow decks instead of being disadvantaged against nearly everything. Crumblecrusher is also great against Priest since they'll have a lot of trouble actually killing you without Atiesh and you pump out enough stats to run them out of removal fairly quickly.
The deck is still quite terrible, no denying that.

Whether there's a more personal sort of rigging implemented in hearthstone is much easier to answer when you play standard. I think Blizzard's admission to using EBMM in Overwatch should be enough evidence.

In general, I think weapon tech is going to be a bit more desirable now. Rustrot and Stadium Announcer are also nice to have against some other classes, like Shaman. I don't think we're at the point where you absolutely should include some of these tech cards, but it's something to keep in mind.

Stop forcing tribes, your top priority should be finding Brann in an elemental/beast/murloc lobby, no matter if your board is full of quills or nagas, once you get him you can make any board so you dont have to commit to a comp on turn 3. Sapper + Felboar is a really good comp that most people dont use, you have to get a bit lucky getting felboar asap and tranquil spellcraft to scale your shop buffs on tier 5, it can get a bit apm ish but it is limited by how many sushi rolls you can generate.

Brann creates a snowball effect in both economy and shop buffs. He doubles the +7/+7 to minions, refreshes the shop, and triggers any other minion that discovers something. He just keeps generating value nonstop and prevents you from running out of gas too quickly. You scale carapace using Geist normally tier 4 undead, if you can get the timewarped one early its even better. Sapper is the timewarped naga from the first timewarp, it gives you a sushi roll, you can reborn with the tier 4 naga spellcraft that you can get from the sushi roll or just buy the tier 4 naga, titus helps. The naga is Fauna, you use him next to all type minions so he can buff shop first and felbat eats.
