Did Bring Down the Sky today, after this it's just Noveria and I'll be finishing up ME1.This one's similar to the geth missions to me, I'm impressed how much effort went into a 45-minute questline adding in custom assets and effectively laying the groundwork for the Batarians as a race when they've got no other presence in ME1. I always found it goofy how absolutely self-inflicted their own misery is. They'd have no problems whatsoever if their entire culture didn't run off slavery, rape, and raiding other alien races. The cutscene where Mercurio stumbles into his house and leaves huge blood puddles with a cop walking around and just not caring at all was kind of weird. But I do like the environmental storytelling, you can track his blood back to his car and see it parked awkwardly (actually these parking spaces aren't big enough for a car to really park and back out of), when you follow him into his house you can see the blood where he stumbled around for the light switch before finally ending up on the couch. I kept offering to call him an ambulance but he doesn't want one so okay buddy. I did like that it at least let me act a little freaked out which seems more in-character than being nonchalant about a guy bleeding to death on the sofa. I guess he's meant to be a mafia guy, so we'll just say the cop knows not to bother him. He wants something for pain, I have a pill bottle from the bathroom in my apartment but doesn't appear to be what he wants so there's a pawnshop and a clinic to try.
