ok so i beat the succ that was giving me trouble by setting abilities on lest and the girl with him and having him use succubus slayer instead of physical/sword boost. i was also able to debuff the boss but i don't know if debuffs are effective in general on paradox bosses and i don't want to waste turns trying to apply them if they don't

>>562991964Luka-prior to whatever insane buffs part 3 gives him- has a nice feel i think. he's got a nice growth from level 1 flail wildly scrub to experienced adventure. his trait letting him use a variety of weapon skills regardless of class has some nice flavor once you build up his skill repertoire, since he had the adventurers that stopped by his inn teach him fighting styles he retains the skillset when swaping jobs. plus upgrading his custom sword throughout the journey to add different elements to it and have it as an elemental weakness hitter is nice. i have it equipped on his main hand with his secondary slot being a knight sword for attack.
