I honestly don't think it is too bad. For existing players her value is minimal, yes, as was intended. But for new players who don't have two +5 Lia costumes and +5 Maidkini Rubia to enable her she's pretty much an okay budget fire DPS. She can help one-turn content with a solid aoe range, and has a built-in self buff for longer fights. There's always safe spots where attacks don't hit.

But she is in a weird spot. Leaning too good to be a welfare, but hard to recommend dumping tons of pulls on for what she offers.

It basically took me 9 months until I had enough investment in Lia/Rubia since so many of their costumes need +3 for SP reduction and then I still had to wait 3 more months for Loen Rerun to finally get a decent team 2. Ikagura will likely worth it if you're started playing during the 2.5 anni or later and your Lia sucks.

What's a newglutti's priority for crafting gear?
I've got like 5 Venomous Touch and 4 sets of double DEF and MR gear along with 4 Evil dragon and Travel god's weapons, all IVs. I'm wondering if I need more weapons, accessories or defensive gear.

I have rolled almost 17000 times in the 2 years I've been playing, the game tracks your pulls. And that doesn't even count all the 5* tickets/selectors you get. People always say "oh but this game is so generous" well compared to what? Hoyoshit? This game is arguably the most generous of any game period, it didn't even have paid skins until recently and there's only 5 currently. Gooner gacha live off that money and the money people pay for pulls, something that this game doesn't care about.

That is not the case for bd2. I've been playing the game for just a year and I've got all the characters/costumes besides 2 and even a couple dozen costumes at max dupes. I'm not completely f2p as I've bought the prestige skins which comes with ~60 pulls but considering we've only had 3 of those and our monthly pull budget is over 300 its kinda of a drop in the bucket.

If your talking about gold ore, use the Celia/Tyr/Libby's suck ability in the towns and 2 battle areas of SP's 7/8/13/16/17 and Firechip. The materials reset weekly so if your abilities aren't upgraded enough to do it in one day you can leave it until the next to finish sucking. Also Hunting Ground 7 VH drops gold ore if you want to dump extra rice into it.

I get the sense that in any other circumstance, Mamonir's way of handling it would have worked, or at least it would have been the best for Palette in the long term. It was just the unknown factor of Mother's interference that threw a wrench into things. Palette is emotionally stunted and dependent but I think Mamonir knows she has it in her to move on if given a push in the right direction.
I don't know if it's likely to happen given the nature of gacha storytelling but I hope we eventually get a payoff to this arc. Palette deserves to be happy and to have yuri love children with Mamonir
