Is it odd to say that I think forgotten land may be remembered in a similar manner to super mario galaxy 1 as both feel like some of nintendo’s most atmospheric 3d platformers

Troubled Dev stories are interesting to find. Sadly we probably won't get people being able to dig into the files to find all the cut content and possible different paths that got left behind in the data.
IIRC some of the rumors I've heard is that Prime 4 was pretty much a half developed game as the base and then a frantic attempt to complete it with different game resulting in a miserable chimera but this story at this point is at "Rumors" tier.

We're not at finding tons of cut content/scraped leftovers in the data like they did with that megadocument they put together for Ace Combat 7 with some degree of Developer tweets and commentary about the troubled dev cycle
