What build should I play? I tried playing RF Chieftain, but even though I don't like to press complex button combinations - this is a bit dry, even for a smoothbrain like me. I don't like PoE2 so take this with a grain of salt but the meta problem in PoE2 is; in PoE1 you have all these multiplicative forms of scaling, this means at the endgame your scaling is hyperbolic the zone of damage that will hurt you but not 1 shot your or do nothing is so tiny it's obviously hard to balance. GGG corrected for this in PoE2 by drastically limiting the amount of scaling avaliable. This means gem levels are a primary way to scale damage, which is intentional. I guess the complaint is that its a standard response for all builds, which is true and boring.In contradiction the huge variance in PoE1 is what makes build making fun but it has probably gone too far. Feels like you're not viable if you don't have some kind of retarded gimmick scaling

I bought like 10 elder marbles, rolled them all with alts with a regex until they hit T1 dot or elder dot or T1 life, recombed them until I had 1p+1s and 1p+elder dot, then filled the items with crafted mods, recombed, and it worked first time. You just have to go one step further. Should take like 4k alts and 2 divines per rare you recomb.I wouldn't do this the fracture fossil way. It probably works out way more expensive since each reforge with suffix locked is 1d and the item can fill and brick you back to doing fossils for the curse mod. And it's gonna be shit and constantly give you cast speed. I wouldn't.Idk what amulet you want but it's gonna be same deal and maybe easier to hit if it needs more prefixes than suffixes or vice versa. There that's a QRD on recomb.

The real money is in high variance uniques that you can buy for 1-3 div under the price of an unidentified one in relatively "easy" maps. Then you run 10+ of them pre hour and identify them yourself. If you roll bad you can most likely sell it break even, but if you get a good roll (which happens often due to the value) you bank 10+ div. You can literally farm a mirror in an afternoon like that.

I don't really know what makes Ritual any different than anything else in terms of what would make Ritual mapping more efficient or anything. I'm not that experienced at the game, if you can't tell.Ritual is one of the only things I actually enjoy doing in poe, primarily because I can look at an item in the ritual window and know I can either get it, or eventually defer it to the point where I can get it with no real guesswork involved.

In this league I try to min max my gladiator crushing fist life stacker build and all those builds on poeninja made me laughso while I was doing research on this build I went to poeninja to see how other people set up and I saw some of the terrible "pob/poeninja warrior" dps.For context it is a life stacking gladiator retaliation build that use greywind, rathpith, enmity ring(stacking fire res) as core mechanic, pretty easy self-explanatory.so on the poeninja I saw people use dissolution of flesh (30% more life, giga damage increase, make sense), but if you use this with enmity you will keep taking damage and never recoup the reserved damage unless you stop doing everything and run around the map for 2s (absolutely not possible during mapping because you will most likely take some tiny damage again even if you have 90% block), you can still use this to one shot uber but for many cases such as mapping and delving this gem is killing you.then I also saw people put a tincture in the flask slot, you can't even activate a tincture on a life stacking build because you have no mana, but poeninja treats as if it is activated, so another 20% "fake pob damage".The most ridiculous one is Fatal Flourish (forbidden jewel combo), it cause your attack to repeat 1 time and if you put this in pob it instantly doubled your dps. But retaliation skills can never be repeated...so I have no idea why pob/poeninja would still count it toward the final damage. This is probably the biggest bait of this build I absolutely almost got baited too for a 200d jewel set.
