You can spend a lot of time theorycrafting a building and getting relics for it then it underperforms almost every time. Curses in DoN also make it very hard to manage a cute build if you aren't running all CEkino too, 1 bad curse on a piece of gear you really need can tank the run. I built a really fun nightlord relic swapping build with ironeye and it does less than my generic 3+ bows build. I want to make builds around the boss relics that have those setups but in the end basic high dps builds are better. Anything that requires set up is dwarfed by the basic dps of pressing r1/l2. Think of it like a racing game, having your streamlined phys 4 balancerslop is like racing in a luxury sportscar, smooth ride and tight cornering, that cute build is the rally b off road thrill machine equivalent. But the thrill isn't really there with the randomness. It becomes my summer car of letdowns most of the time. I wish for better in life.

One of the biggest problems is that you should roll out of getting knocked down, but that can further disorient you if you're not paying close attention to what direction you're rolling in and what the enemy is also doing from your POV. I got killed by Vordt in what felt like insane 3 hit combos where I couldn't do anything, but really I died because I was either waiting for the get up animation or I was rolling in the wrong direction, allowing him to mash my head in repeatedly. >>563545094I'm struggling to get used to it, but it's quite novel and fun. It'll break your posture but won't do damage. In general, always be moving away but not to the edge to get trapped. If you keep distance you'll be out of the flower burst and the waves as they break up on the outside.
