What are your expectations for how KJH handles Demian for those that read the book? Personally, I hope he doesn't subsume Demian into the war, that was my biggest worry because that portion of the book is very clearly too reflective of the author's own anxieties to the point I felt it went against Demian's established character but seeing as LE SMOKE was LE BLUE I think he'll have a more important role within it. Other than that there are some concepts from it which can be investigated with greater lucidity now that we are in the modern age, intellectual constraints of the time make both Demian and Sinclair's journey strangely primordial, in a wrong way, when I feel that what Hesse was gesturing at with the use of them doesn't map so cleanly onto such 'earthiness', if that makes sense. The biggest issue is of course, is KJH even capable of delivering on the book's shortcomings now that he has an advantage in some ways over the original author? ...Probably not! I don't expect it.

>>563567431faust getting crippled that even dante's clock nor ampules could heal...limbus company not wanting to spend resources on arguments or anything since they'd be undone when dante turns the clock for the other sinners...dante being "kind" and offering to push her around in her chair when she's not wearing an id...threatening to use an id to replace her when she gets too arrogant and bossy when talking back to dante....tell her it was just a joke when she goes quiet and mumbles sorry, that you wouldnt replace your dearest faust...seeing her slightly smile at hearing that and patting her head...all the other sinners look at her with a sad expression due to her predicament but say that faust is still faust...make a small joke about how she doesnt have to worry about you giving her a sad expression due to the clock face, she smiles at it and says thats true...sometimes leave her out of conversations with other sinners by not rolling her over to the group discussion because she's got an attitude still...relay whatever was said half heartedly and say she doesnt really need to worry about it since the id fausts will handle it...she confides in you that all the other fausts have mocked and belittled her and she's done whatever she can to stay in the faustcord to be of use to you...pat her head and say you're proud of her for doing that for your sake, she asks if she still needs to be in the faustcord and you say "well..." and she doesnt say anything elseall the other fausts laugh and tell her that you're just using her and that you dont care about her at allshe's too scared to bring that up to you because she thinks you'll agree or get mad for her saying something like that...whenever she isnt being talked to directly she mainly stays silent in the faustcord and on the bus after a while...
