It was very different time where hope for VNs still didn't completly die off and they were still wrapping up TABA and working on Animated version of Yukikaze 2. Fuuma was fresh on their minds and they used ending of TABA as jumping point for their next project. Tatsurou was pushed as cuck joke up to this point so much they probably forgot that he is glue keeping Yukikaze plot together and only interesting thing to build on Rinko as a character beside her being hot. With jump from TABA to RPGX it showed one specific problem they probably didn't expect. TABA was title with mostly it's own original cast with more popular VN characters being extras that got scenes from time to time but weren't really that important to the plot for most of it, for RPG those popular characters became main ones and needing to be reworked for what they saw as Fuuma centric plot, most of TABA cast going into background and few new originals being added. Some characters worked long term and transitioned well(Kurenai, Yuki) and some didn't(Rinko, Sakura,Murasaki), just how things go sometimes.

Man, farming Orichi shards is pretty thankless. Normally repeat battling level 9 challenges is good for xp farming too, but you basically need fully levelled characters anyway to beat Demon King Hanazuki, or whatever his name is.

Just to help out with some general data.Orc Warlord's P.Shields in TacTrain can be Buff Stolen/Removed/Blocked, which gives you some options. 1. (Speed): Orc Warlord seems to pretty reliably operate having 75 speed, however he also seems to reliably go before any of your 74+75 speed units, but consistently after your 76+ speed units. This notably leaves key units: Yao Bikini (Technique, Technique atk leader aura, multi-hit S1, buff-steal S3) and Michea Silkys (Agility, Agility spd leader aura, 4-hit s1 w/ P.Shield removal). At the bare minimum, without other mechanic consideration, you can bring these units when Orc Warlord is Agility/Blue (Yao, should be Leader), and Power/Red (Silkys, should not be Leader unless using more Speed tuning).2. BuffBlock: Check the google sheet for Squad, in the Who Has What tabs, to see who has access to this debuff to deny Orc Warlord his shields from even applying. Notables: Kiryu Mikoto (Power, also has Weaken on S1), Aoi / Tokiko (Agility, Aoi's S1 extends debuff duration, Tokiko has atk+, and also weaken on her S3), and Kirin (Technique).3. Buff Remove: Check the legendaries in this category, mostly, as Kurenai, Saika, and Asuka are great for doing this pre-damage.4. Extra Turn: one of the core 'hidden' mechanics to TacTraining is units who push the boss HP from 1 bar to the next (Going from D grade to C grade, for example) using a move with Extra Turn mechanics get said Extra Turn.If you have any specific questions, just mention them.
