Its spells were good in the context that they were cheap and you could make someone block a lightning cube and get a good mana refund from charging after, but many of those spells don't feel worth the asking price anymore. The increased cost of the more expensive ones feels like less of a big deal comparatively, and in a way you also want expensive but effective cards as much as possible because they're the best option to go into mana break with. If you're in TC1 your best options to go into mana break are probably the lighting cube or Screamer, which are okay but not nearly as preferable as Delayed Tardus Metron or Arpeggio, which you won't get in Test Case 1. I feel like Test Case 1 is doomed to become the deck that has slow staff, reduced mana cost and not much else, because while its spells are good, they feel very much like they were designed with his previous mana economy in mind. They are good, but a significant part of why they were good was in their price and how they could set up a chance to recover your mana, which they don't have going for them anymore.

New player hereI'm opening players up as Jack-O with throw, 2K etc., but it's all moves that don't lead to high damage. What should I be doing to open the opponent up in a way that lets me melt their lifebar?
