Decided to give the current state of Freedom Planet a lookie...It's dead. While there are many places where I can point the finger (cough trannies cough), I'd say the major failure point was:Not completing all of the indiegogo goals for Freedom Planet 1.That'd be where things went to shit. Choosing to have the game ported to console was a HUGE mistake. Especially when it wasn't done yet. I mean, Scott Cawthorne's Five Nights at Freddy's games run on the same engine (Clickteam Fusion) and were hugely successful WITHOUT porting to console.Freedom Planet 1 still had/has Torque and Spade to do. And porting the game means it can't be updated anymore due to Clickteam Fusion not having any real coding behind it (it uses very shitty visual scripting). Was it greed? Hoping to make a ton of money on console fags? Hindsight is 20/20 but it seems like such an obvious mistake.What followed was more or less cope. And an inability to get the 2nd game out the door. Now it's all dead. And I really doubt Strife'll "remake the 1st game in the 2nd game's engine" cause he barely got the 2nd game done.
