Just finished Aruvu's campaign and I actually quite enjoyed it. I rolled for her because I wanted to see more of her being a mother to Dura, and there's plenty of that in the senior year. I didn't expect any Tore love plot, so maybe that's why I wasn't that disappointed.Still, I can see why some people might not like it. If this was a VN, Aruvu's route would be an append or a fandisc, since her entire first half really doesn't have that much impact without knowing about SiL's story first. Aruvu's trainer is pretty bland, especially compared to some of the trainers we've been getting lately; they should have either made him one of the main driving forces in Aruvu's growth or just have him be like Air Groove's husband, like Taabo's trainer with Neicha. The plot with SiL really just went nowhere after the Triple Tiara, and Aruvu quickly "saved" SiL by just telling her that her trainer would be sad if she sacrificed herself and gave her body entirely to Crimson.I think that other anon was on to something when he said the campaign got nerfed or was toned down. We had three races in the senior year where the goal is to place within the top three, and none of the rivals in those races were even anywhere close to being strong by 2026 standards. I didn't even lose a single one of those races with my SR-only deck. Not to mention, Aruvu getting hit by the universe trying to correct itself was resolved within two consecutive events instead of being something that runs throughout the entire senior year.In the end, it's not that special, but Gods, I love the whole family aspect of the campaign.
