Apologies for random thoughts.Love this game for Flare and Uchida Maaya, and real pantsu. Combat is somewhat interesting, although some characters feel like an afterthought, and it's kinda hilarious how Angel is just another "blonde gunner woman KR dev school project".Kinda funny that Jiwon is just un-fox Tingyun.Also there are a ton of cutscenes where you can hear the devs going "pleeeeeease make porn look here are some tropes" like the FUB pigmen and the elf oyakodon.Honestly a tragedy that it's by netmarble. The scuff is immense. Somehow the characters, monsters, and backgrounds all look like they're from slightly different styles so they clash in minor ways. The cutscenes have sound fx that sound like placeholders, when dialogue scenes center perfectly on a character as they go through 3 or more emotes in quick succession it really feels like classic Sonic Team games.All that said, the only thing they have to do to keep me invested is keep up the pantsu propaganda because there aren't many other options in the gacha space, or even the gaming space. If you go to games like Brown Dust, there's no class and it feels like a downgraded porn game. If you go to the popular choices all the girls are wearing safety shorts or plausible deniability leotards/swimsuits. There's a fine line to walk of keeping pantsu classy, and it feels like this game doing it pretty well.

The only male charas we have in the main story are either immediately kicked off the bus (Lifeng) or carefully selected to be un-threatening to ships (owlman, npc models) and so now the game is in a state where the playerbase that is hungry for attractive male charas (which is not insignificant) are being supported on a single pillar and that is Ardashir. So Ardashir has to fuck around and kill time as long as possible while the devs come up with some actually decent and relevant male characters. Kinda tragic, actually because on paper he's a very good antagonist but he's basically contractually obligated to be potential-man.

I do find it interesting how people feel about needing to grind out characters. One of the things I always hated about the post genshin gachas was that you basically max them out and have nothing worth doing to make your characters stronger except being a fucking absolute retard to farm artifacts or whatever the fuck name was given to them in the same copy paste system for a couple of completely random bullshit rolls that honestly don't amount to much even if you spend a month minmaxing it. Of course the best units to pair with Narae are Flare and Mina so realistically you should role for both and then if you're hurting for currency i'd skip Nagi as whilst she will pair well with Esther, I can't see her being better enough than Flare to justify rolling her.Alternatively ignore me and roll with your dick however this game seems to be going the Etheria Restart route where having a wide pool of characters is far more valuable than whaling for a single one. If this game has metafag whales, they will be whaling for Narae.

I only recommend putting her with Mina because Mina is the best Fire DPS we'll get for a while and generally fire is a better element than Ice but Ophelia is good and already viable, Narae will only make her better, the problem with Ice right now is the same problem that Lightning has, the DPS character is fine, it's the sub-dps and supports that are lacking, Narae fixes that issue for Ice which means come 1.1 Lightning will be by far the worst element.
