I think this is just a very unapologetic game to climb in, because you dont really factor in what or how you're teammates play. If people play Ultron or White Fox into a competent Starlord then you basically lose, if your teammates are playing Dive against a competent Namor, Peni, or Ultron then you just lose unless you hard-carry on Duelist and that can depend on what the enemy Strategist and Tanks are because if you get unlucky then they certainly stonewall you.I've had matches where I have to lock in Invisible Woman, Cloak & Dagger, Rocket, Groot, Strange, Punisher just to give the team a fighting chance, and it gets to the point where you cant help but wonder why the fuck people aren't just playing these characters to begin with. Its just the meta, and its not anyones fault that the devs are incapable of balancing.

What do I do when the enemies group up? I played Psylocke and I swear to god there was not a single moment in the entire match the enemies separated. The supports were always grouped up with at least one dps with them. What do you do in that situation? Poking backline was useless and the tanks were immortal. The best thing I could do is try to hunt down the last dps but that fucker was always in the sightlines of his supports too so I struggled with him.
