How does one aim as the Demoman? And how does one predict the movement of the enemy better to hit the pipes and what would be the optimal mouse settings for this purpose? Though, with this question and Demoman using projectile based weapons I think an explanation on how to be a proper solly would be nice as well

Soldier is easy class so are Demo.Just imagine a trajectory line starting from the reticle or scope part of your weapon viewmodel, extending further and aim with that line.Try to ignore crosshair as much as you can at short distance and against airborne targets and go for flick shots.For long distance, you still need to consider arc of pill projectiles and they're slower than rockets, but you'll have some saving grace with their ricochet. Which is also useful to repel Medics if you roll them on the ground.Hard to explain how to lead the shot properly, because it's a matter of relative speed and ratios between enemy speed and your projectile flight speed. A little practice goes a long way but everything rises slower than they fall down; watch for peak of movement.

stock GL is better, iron bomber users have fooled themselves into thinking the stationary rollers are "putting in work", despite the fact they have no damage radius and can't be banked around corners. it's a placebo. you also get less AoE on tightly packed groups, like on the payload cart. their effectiveness is greatly overestimated.stock has none of these problems.
