Now that it's been close to a week, how are we feeling on the Ultron ult change for those who play him? For me I've definitely seen a noticeable improvement. Getting picks is easier even if you're only hitting them with the outer blasts, and even if not it does a better job at forcing the team to retreat backwards to give more space for a push. The only downside is that anyone competent against fliers will shoot you down if you get too close easily - meaning you have to choose between good positioning but likely not getting a pick, or risking it up close to get maybe a support trade-off. I think any adjustments might make him too broken in the ult but my ideal second buff would be giving the drones mini health bars that you need to shoot through. So you can't instant kill Ultron when he pops the ult, but shooting at him would destroy his outer drones removing their blasts and ultimately making the ult weaker the more damage he takes. Would allow you to get closer for maybe a pick or good damage without insta-dying without being super busted since the more exposed you'd be, the less firepower you'll get if someones shredding you.
