The new campaign chapters were really great, I liked them a lot. The only nitpicks I could name would be:1. The weird asspull that the Ark is apparently capable to flight and/or rising to the surface. It does makes sense considering the name that the Ark would be capable of transport, but it still felt like a writer's cheap cop-out in order to progress the story.2. That Nayuta was indeed betrayed by Mirror, which came to nobody's fucking surprise. Mirror is literally written to be one of the most clear-cut villains and evil beings in the NIKKE universe, always scheming and fancying herself as a puppet master, and I always found it strange that Nayuta would consider her an ally, albeit temporary. So I just assumed that there would be more to it. There still might be, but right now it just looks like that specific part was kind of lazily written. Maybe I'll eat my words and this all turned out to be part of Nayuta's master plan (who by now is looking very likely to be the ex-VTC leader).3. Not sure how I feel about the nonchalant reveal that Only One is more powerful than the queen, although I liked that the 4 beasts immediately agreed to contain her power.

My issue with constant steaks is how it eventually cheapens death as a plot device. I remember Akame ga Kill and how I went from being upset of a character dying to "oh, ok, cool I guess". Eventually the sequel manga flopped because the gimmick ran out and the mangaka went and made a new manga about fights and boobs with no real deaths that is selling infinitely better.
