I just have a rough route that vaguely follow now and avoid some annoying areas, especially in the Korean zones like the last area with the plant monsters. Combining is also important but the problem is that it's tedious as fuck because you don't have a way to sort monsters by trait rarity. That means you have to click on almost all the monsters in your bag and lock ones that have orange traits that you want. Then after you do a batch combine you have to click on all the new ones you got to see if they got any oranges and so on... it's really awful and I hope they fix it soon. Also be careful to avoid accidentally batch combining stuff like boss monsters, elites or ones that you might want for mutations.
