Honestly, it's debatable whether FFNs can ever be good for prose because, even a specifically RP trained model is going to struggle to understand importance weighting without a *lot* of good data to draw from and there's just not likely to be enough good data to get that trained in and still be flexible as far as vocabulary and the rest go. The vast majority of training tokens are modern tokens and so the models with tend to favor modern styles.One of the big problems, however, is semantic importance weighting and how that is a natural feature of human brains but is presently not even manually dialable in LLMs (CFG requires secondary passes and was abandoned early on as too slow and RNNs are still kinda retarded). Anyone who does image gen knows how that works manually, but a text corpus, even for a single RP, is going to be too large for manually marking out important things and that's why slowburners almost always return to manually summarizing their content.

Alright i used v4 and flashy pretty extensively and used them to have the same conversation with characters. Overall there isn't a huge difference except flash is really bad at keeping roleplay formats. Both of them are interpreting prompts a little more loosely for the sake of realism, I think.
