Nerf Dynamo. Kinetic Slam needs to not hit through objects so easily, if it's intended to be jumpable it needs to be easier. ATM because it has no windup and travels so fast you have to predict Dynamo will do it, double jump and hope Dynamo still presses the button without thinking. Fuck his stupid ball ability.

Haze ult still needs a rework if you ask me but its current form is a lot better.

Apollo needs to be less toxic to kill, but more impactful late in the game. I don't know how you achieve that but watching every single Apollo go 10/0 before 15 minutes, then every single time end the game 10/15 is annoying. His riposte is the most toxic part of his kit and I want it nerfed but he needs something later on I don't know what.

Holliday needs a complete kit do-over.

Rem being not an active detriment to his team requires too much skill, I presume, but even when he is good he seems to just sort of suck. People build him dumb but I think its hard for them to figure out what he's meant to do, and what he does doesn't feel great. I would remove the shitpost things his helpers can do and focus them on buffing minions/allies so he actually does that instead of running around stealing sinners and picking up crates with them.

Grave's grasping hands needs tuned, there are several places on the map where it clips slightly under so its not visible where its placed. I think her last nerfs put her into a good place though.

Floor lava shit is cancerous and Infernus players win games without pressing M1 ever by just shitting all over the ground. It's quite hard to see in a lot of places, especially with multiple overlapping effects. I sort of wish the lava was a small bit of the damage, and he dealt more by running through you or something. Dunno. Just sick of stepping into the fight and 50 hostile and friendly status effects being all over the floor and if I step on the wrong overlapping colour half my health instantly disappears.

Balancing around higher ranked players is generally the best solution because true casuals shouldn't care about balance and middle elo players don't have enough of a grasp on the game to balance around them. Why buy it every single game? It's an alright item, but there's less situational greens, especially tier 3 ones.
There's plenty of games where the enemy team has a Shiv and an Infernus and I still don't buy dispel magic because those two players aren't threats and don't do enough damage to matter.
Personally I'm more of a sucker for Fortitude, infinite duration Healing Rite with a 10 second cooldown, and 375 more health is nice too. Many games where it is literally my sole green.

This is my first MOBA, does Dota have buildpaths / branching ability trees or anything cool like that? Hoping in the future Deadlock gets something along those lines because most of the cast feels rigid

I'm fine with high skill ceiling characters that the average player is just ass at.
I just don't like characters that get nerfed so hard that when I see them in a pub I know they're:
1. Probably the biggest tryhard on the enemy team and will thus play with the most skill just through sheer effort alone
2. Will still be mediocre at best because they're playing with too many handicaps
Everytime I lane against a Holliday, I see them airstrafing with their bouncepads, landing their barrels, landing their headshots, and it amounts to nothing. Their headshots are mildly scary until I get any sustain at all and suddenly 300 damage every 20 seconds is nothing to me. They often play with more skill and effort than me and it doesn't matter because they're playing Holliday so they don't get to do anything.

There's also an issue with characters that pubstomp low skill players that can't or won't counter them, like how Victor used to shit all over a lobby if they didn't build around him. But I don't mind that as much because it sort of acts as a filter for players to be forced to learn to counter before moving up in ranks(Atleast it would if the ranks weren't a mess)
Holliday being dogshit doesn't really teach those players anything, or serve any real purpose though.

I used to do things like this under the mental premise that if I had a lot of sustain I could play really aggressively.
But in practice it just means I dive them more aggressively, do no damage, and then run away with no CDs and with nothing accomplished.

Healing rite is for when you're smacking boxes, taking side camp etc. If you have time you're not standing in lane shooting the other players you can be healing up with it.
Extra regen is more generally good for actual in lane sustain.

Would probably aid her WR by a decent bit at higher ranks, cant imagine any other way to make that ult not just be a shittier version of Bebop hook. Ive seen some people say that she needs a time related ult, i guess something like what Chronos has in Smite, you get your health and MP from 8 seconds prior to using the ult, and all your ability CDs are refunded. For Paradox this would play into her wall and bomb spam playstyle, the burst potential with carbine would probably be similar to Yamato's 2->3->1->ult->2->3->1 combo. Maybe itd make her too powerful, idk.

Finally saw the replies to my post, JFC wasn't expecting the anger. No I didn't know spirit burn would amplify my damage that much, My last 2 slots usually depend on the situation it's just that this match I had Inhibitor and didn't get a chance to replace monster rounds with something else, I only steal the enemies sinners cause why the fuck would you take away your teams ability to power up when you can deny the enemy's.

I'm not saying this to be like 'hehe gitgud' but like the amount of times you can just run within melee range of someone and just mag dump them and then chuck in a light randomly mid mag or something and then they panic parry. Like if you're getting parried so much on lights your positioning is telling them to expect it. So go the next step and pretend like you're going to melee them. Then heavy melee them.
