The Knight was visibly searching for something inside the 3rd Sanctuary. I think they wanted to kidnap Alvin like they kidnapped Undyne and tried to kidnap Toriel. Alvin was probably inside the closet hiding from the Knight rather than from (You) and the Knight just absconded while you were distracted by the Titan. Alternatively, maybe the Knight found Alvin while you fought the Titan and used their shapeshifting ability to fit inside the closet with him so they could drag him to the shelter after you and Susie leave. I think it would really kick the plot into high gear if Alvin goes missing and the church is completely wrecked, that'd be much harder to cover up than Undyne's disappearance alone.

I know that Chapter 5 is gonna bring out all the characters’ flaws full throttle and I’m really excited for that. Because I highly doubt with a game as meta as Deltarune, it’s just gonna continuously play into this what is essentially a cliche romcom trope in rpgs. Because while the game has been playing into that a bit, i think its just to set up a big subversion in it, we’ll probably get to see Susie and Noelle’s flaws on full display followed by it all crashing down with the reveal of Kris’s betrayal. Susie’s main and probably biggest flaw is that she is a selfish hypocrite. She is VERY possessive of Kris and hard headed on the fact that they are supposed heroes who will shatter the prophecy. She also lies to Noelle’s face about the Dark Worlds, despite hating liars herself. And all for the sole reason, as she said herself, that she wants to keep the Dark World stuff between her and Kris.As for Noelle, she tries way too hard to impress Susie, as far as to lie about her and Kris’s past friendship and say it meant nothing. (though I doubt Susie really bought it lmao) Ontop of how jealous she gets whenever Kris and Susie hang out together, I just know it’s gonna boil over into something nasty.So both parties are essentially just lying to each other, and there’s no certainty on what’ll happen, all i know is we’re all crying.
