You have a magic team, so replace Arines with Elpis, who is her magic alternative, or Samay, who doesn't buff crit, but instead buffs both atk and matk.On your second question, all buffs are additive, crit rate (so 50% from nun liberta + 50% from red riding rou means you crit 100% of the time), crit damage, m/atk, elemental buffs, same goes for debuffs. also, if you notice, your characters do "chains" for each attack they do (number of chains depends on the skill, if the number of attacks isn't specified on the skill, it's a single attack, chains can be increased, for example, bikini wilhelmina ads a second chain to each of her own attacks, and if you add bride refithea on top, wilhelmina now does 3 chains per attack. each chain = 10% more damage from the next instance of damage, so at 10 chains, the next attack will do 100% more damage). On your 3rd question, healing isn't a factor outside of end game content, in story and most other non fiend hunt/guild raid battles, your units normally get oneshot, so you generally build to oneshot the enemy, before they do so to you. There aren't that many healers either.

In Brown Dust 2, there was no equivalent to the Captain, you were just an outside observer watching the cast go on their JRPG adventure. When the game shifted more and more to fanservice and pandering to stay afloat, this obviously posed a problem to the narrative since there wasn't anyone for all the scantily clad bunnygirls and bridal alts and such to be pandering TO, even shit like the home screen and "My Room" were non-diegetic because there's nobody for them to be talking to. To fix this, they introduced a proper (You) character who's actually the one banging the chicks in the POV scenes that accompany prestige skins and fated guest interactions, as well as the text message chats with the girls that so many gacha games have nowadays. This character is the Master of the Gluppy Diner, which is basically a mysterious wandering building that feeds on positive emotions as payment, so it's your job to play therapist to the various girls who arrive, help resolve their problems, feed them good food, and then fuck them to make your deadpan demon assistant happy. Now that there's an equivalent to the first game's Captain, going forward (You) will be part of the main cast alongside Justia and the others and the diner will be your home base. In my experience people who played the first game aren't as asshurt about the change from an ensemble cast.

I got helena +5 to use for magic (and also bought her skin because I'm a dirty paypig), I'll have enough selectable tickets to get 2 other characters to +5, from looking at it the conventional wisdom is Diana for one of them because she boosts elemental advantage and the tower is all about that. For a third character who's a good pick (I'm not picking lathel 5 times even if he's good, maybe if he gets gender bent in the future he can have a shot)Zenith looks like a strong choice, if I understand the damage formula her 50% amp is multiplicative with everything else and it goes to 100% when fully upgraded, and more importantly works for magic AND phys damage teams since it's an enemy debuff and not an ally buff. The 6-hit attack also works like a 60% damage buff for subsequent allies, for a combined 1.00*2.0*1.6=3.2x damage boost which seems fucking insane for a free character.Is there any reason not to pick her 5x and use her as a universal damage buff?

Powder is used to by costumes in powder of hope shop. Every (non-limited) costume goes into the hope shop after the first maint once their banner ends and are in the shop for 2 weeks plus 2 other random costumes if there is space in the shop.

All that was shitcanned after the original author got fired and stuff was rewritten half a dozen times. There's other drama, like some former employees alleging executive meddling and power harrassment and shit, IDGAF about dystopian gook corporate culture and only care about the final product which is extremely mediocre
