how do i build space fauna late game? small amoeba spam gives me the most fleet power and damage with flagella and 90% evasion but even with that evasion i lose a lot of them in combat easily

space fauna playthrough review :
pro : it's fun! it feels like a pokemon training in space and experimenting with stuff like 6 X sized focused arcs on a single voidworm troika was hilarious and crystals that split into two and run at 600 speed with 90% evasion are pure joy
cons : the ship designs felt limited compared to mechanical or bio ships
there is no titan assembly yards so the only way to make your only titan ship (voidworm troika) is to make 3 adults and park them in a black hole and wait for them to fuse
it's also exceptionally fucking buggy
bugs ranging from not being able to save my design to capturing fauna i shouldn't (mechanical_ship_ was in my viva and i couldnt do anything with it)
i recommend it atleast once
also the sentient wilds origin is fucking busted as shit if you focus on reducing empire size by 50% using civics
you can get it even lower
your only empire size comes from planets so that's easy to bring down with ascension

Swapping it over to a chunk of resource profits rather than a of gross production would solve huge swathes of the game's problems.

Having it be a chunk of gross production is retarded as for 99% of a game's run, you are aiming for razor thin margins of 1500 production and 1495 upkeep, and you are harshly punished for not running razor thin margins (By falling behind empires that do.)

How many patches has this game gone through and this STILL isn't fixed? Do they even play their own game?

My favorite part of Stellaris is just how many fucking events simply delete your save. It's seriously feels like half of the fucking events simply ruin the entire game without recourse and force you to lose without any ability to interact with or prevent them. The game would be a lot better if it didn't feature random instant-loss dice rolls automatically killing your entire run after 5 hours of gameplay.

He didn't get to play in winter (sadly the only /vg/ player to not make an appearance through the entire tournament) but he played yesterday in one of the matches of the spring tournament where he was credited with an assist and awarded a yellow card for defense of the empire, and the /vg/ management recognized his achievements by naming him the player of the day

So you can very quickly grow your founder species on any new planets, up to a certain point. Only then do you need robots or aliens to grow further
