I feel like Mashu is in that weird spot where she is actually UNDERused from a plot/character development perspective. Sure on the surface everyone screams about cockblocking, and how they shove her everywhere, but honestly it kinda seems like the opposite these days. Many events shove her out or only have her as mission control, most of her part 2 development got shoved to the absolute tail end of the LBs, and even with the original drafts it would have taken her until LB6 to get any development after moping around for five chapters. Then even that flew out of the window, and it took until fucking OC4 for them to focus on her again, and by that point it legit felt like clearing some checkpoints so she gets her super gun, especially since that chapter also had to deal with its own plot, Metatron, Lilith and Kadoc, so even there it just kinda felt like one of the episodes.

It ended up being just a basic powerup to bring her to Galahad's level instead of genuinely making her a different kind of Shielder so Maris could not "predict" her. Probably a result of cut content/rewrites.

Okay Alcides is involved with the villain.The lock for the "girl voice" you hear from the tree is the Sanda's grail front event with Fruit-chan. I'm guessing thie event was meant to also tease her release event which came after OC4 and would've been after this event.
