FEH already wasn't sustainable by the time 3H came out, the fact it managed to freeze its decline for so long was mostly a bubble that then popped when a new game came out. Covering up the cracks was something only 3H could have done. When they stopped jangling the 3H keys and tried to make people roll for Engage, the illusion wore off. People realised they were expected to roll for content they didn't want in a game that was actually shit. The game had been shit for a long time but jangling the 3H keys distracted from that.
