I hope they simplify things even more in TES VI, no kidding too. I wouldn't even be bothered if they simplified all the schools of magic into one monolithic "magic" skill, with the traditional "schools" of magic becoming perk trees rather than their own distinct skills. They could even condense one-handed and two-handed into one neat "arms" skill. You could have 3-5 skills that are all incredibly powerful, rather than 17 or so in Skyrim where they're all quite weak and encourage becoming a jack of all trades, master of none. The problem I think is not with simplification or "dumbing down" (at least not in all cases), but rather, the desirability of dumbing down to further accommodate an audience of simpletons and take development shortcuts. If simplification is done to benefit the depth of skills, then it would be fine.

>>565055671Dragon Age had an excellent talents system where you can exchange points for "talents" (or powers). TESVI could merge a lot of the existing spell tomes into the levelup system too. It never made much sense to me that you could spend money to train a skill with a mentor character, and they teach you basically nothing except making your existing skills more powerful. Bethesda games have always struggled with perks because usually they just give passive stat boosts rather than anything that makes an immediate noticeable difference, and while that would be fine in another game, Bethesda games have skills which overshadow those passive boosts in many cases.What they could also do is restrict certain spells and powers from the overflow to mentor characters to make them more special. Like instead of Orgnar Iron-Fist just boosting your stat, he could also teach you "Iron Pummel", a power that allows you to swing a hammer at someone while sprinting. Alternatively, Nathan the Necromancer could teach you how to reanimate corpses if you're far enough in the Necromancer questline (fingers crossed we even get one). Rosie the Restorationist might be able to teach you Mediarama, a spell to heal your entire party, if you do a quest for her. The possibilities are endless and quite cool to consider.

The heads are roughly the same size, it just looks like it's either big on a small person or small on a big person. in skyrim, setscale reduces head size along with the body, so I've had to bump the head scale up just a little to get a realistic looking short girl.

Didn't know OAR had an animation limit. Pandora shows 60k+ animations, maybe it's time to trim the fat? You can increase the limit but I don't know how safe that is.
