In Tamers and Adventure, the general population being aware of Digimon was treated like a threat that could ruin everything. Liollmon STILL hasn't been used in anything besides the Accel. You wanna know what unification means? It means using your fucking Digimon when they're relevant! Even Pokemon made sure their side games like Mystery Dungeon and Conquest used a lot of the recent Pokemon to make sure people are familiar with them. When you saw Lucario, you know damn well the next few games, anime and manga are gonna have Lucario in them. What's the point of creating 100 new Digimon and just leaving them to gather dust?
