Played for a bit. Got to hunter level 11. The only thing that nags at me is the translation. 20 years ago, I'd say it was fine. But the bar has been raised so high at this point. It feels stiff. Like, technically, okay. It's english. There's no excess of errors. Some weird wording here and there, but it's rare. It's grammatically correct and easy to understand. But it's missing that extra mile that brings it to life. The dialogue, both in the main story and NPCs on the street, feels lifeless and uncharismatic compared to standards set by games like Nikke, GFL2, Blue Archive, or even going as far back as 2018 Azur Lane. I don't feel the pull to engage in chatter or get to know anyone because they don't feel like people. And when a game's selling point is waifus, missing that charm is a big problem.

Driving is orgasmic on PS5 with those special shoulder buttons. I could see myself just driving around for fun. Do wish cars took jumps better and could knock down fences and railings like in GTA simply to make things more fun and less restrictive.
