Man, today was brutal. After practicing with Magik in Vs AI for months, I finally tried to take her into gold Comp this week. I am clearly in over my head. I get to the point and freak out because I see four people already on the point. I have no way of getting past the frontline to the opposing healers without getting shredded immediately. If I stay and "brawl" I get shredded by a Moon Knight or Punisher. Fact is most players are fucking retarded, hoping that healing will overpower their own mistakes as there is no strategy but brute force. Hulk, Venom, or Cap in your backline? Nine out of ten times only one person will deal with it. That shows you how little coordination, teamwork, and above all target priority is regarded in this game. The most common sin is goddamn tunnel vision, and it's astounding how much this still happens this far into the game's life. A shitty tank would rather 1v4 players getting healed than peel for a teammate. A shitty DPS refuses to rubber band between front and backline of his team depending on need. A shitty healer will push too far up to the front line, or refuse to do offense at all, ultimately failing to balance their two responsibilities. Worse yet if they can't pattycake. And then there's the comps, god dammit the comps. Fact is people play their mains, not what a match needs.
