I think it's over for me bros... I haven't logged in for almost a week + I still haven't started the newest zone at all, I just did my daily stuff and logged out. I'm just not excited at all by the idea of having to build a new base every fucking time a new zone/area releases. Every new set needing a new particular resource also annoys the fuck out of me. I don't find it fun at all having to build( or copy) some convoluted chain of refining and processing just so I can craft ONE set for a character, and then I'll most likely never bother with that resource ever again. I feel like something went horribly wrong in regards to their base-building philosophy. The first Base was fun, and I would much rather expand on that. The second time when I got to China-land it was already starting to get annoying, especially considering the limit on Sky-forges.. Besides all of that the combat is just not exciting enough to stick around for by itself... I'll admit that the newer characters play way better than the initial cast, but it's still not enough. The combat feels completely weightless, Something as simple as a heavy attack or a charge attack when holding down the mouse would had done wonders for the combat imo

Even if HG were to lose their mind and choose to ditch the factory, it wouldn't happen like it did in ZZZ - they'd just unhook the small number of places where interacting with the factory is REQUIRED to progress, add more stock bill sources, and lower the number of future outposts. It's key to the story, but they they could make it unnecessary to mechanically interact with, unlike ZZZ's TV mode, while still keeping it in its own little bubble for people who enjoy it - treat it like Etchspace, essentially.Not that they would, since their metrics suggest people enjoy it, they just introduced an event revolving around it, and its a big part of what distinguishes the game from being a generic 3D gachas.
