I finished the main story of Final Fantasy XV tonight. Just over level 50 for the whole group and I clocked in about 50 hours. My overall opinion on the game is its about a 7/10. I liked the game enough to reach the ending but I don't care enough about the story to bother doing the DLCs, for now.If the story of said DLCs is their main attraction, then I might just watch them on youtube because, frankly, I've had enough of this gameplay and the open world sloppa. I never once felt challenged, literally never got a game over, and I'm sure thats mostly because the game has the Dragon's Dogma problem of healing being so trivial but also the main campaign ending at such low levels. I stopped doing side content because I thought level 50 would be the halfway point but its actually overlevelled. In spite of that, it always felt like it was hard to avoid taking damage so now the game is easy but annoying and repetitive.The main thing carrying the story was Noctis himself, his english VA was good. Everything else though barely exists. Maybe someday I'll go back and do the extra content but for now I've had my fill of this game. It's still way better than 13 was.
