Since some of the branded cards are getting shuffled out of the current secret packs, is it actually the most efficient to pull 2-3 times on the new frontier secret pack right now? It seems like it has the highest ratio of cards used in the new lists that aren't affected by the secret pack changes. Normally it would be the alba abyss pack but like half of the cards in that pack are getting removed so I don't want to pull those before next month since it would dilute the new selection/secret pack.

Anyone else just not liking the game? It started to feel a little, idk, bland? There is no longer any soul behind decks. Brand new Hecatoncheire and Elvennotes show it, Hecaton is just illusion slop with Azamina and Chimera, Elves is just Fiendsmith, Medius, synchro spam, good stuff shit. Really just nothing interesting. What makes this even worse is that the game now in practice is just FTK vs FTK which results in the experience being just a scoopfest.

You're very rarely getting the matchup and godhand that enables OTKing going second, so far better to force a situation where you're surviving turn 2, forcing them into a half board and ending with a fully charged engage or two already in grip - and especially so given current deck builds all but guarantee 2+ handtraps on top of established boards.Negate + take is also an extremely strong interaction, and drawing a bajillion means you're very likely to end on at least an ash / belle / c / droll yourself, on top of however many lemnis bounces, super polies or droplets you manage to accrue. Going first usually lets you end up with more board breakers than you'd have going second, and on top of that, the radiant typhoon monster package is way worse going second (since they can't special until MST is in rotation) - given how good visions is at setting your grave up, there's a lot of appeal to having the whole engine
