New Umbral stages have good ideas behind the gimmicks, but it's ultimately ruined by enemies being passive as fuck and you not being able to actively interract with said gimmicks. Previous set was great because you could counter the mechanics and stages required reading. For this set:>Stage 1:Lmao, no mechanics>Stage 2:Lmao, no mechanics>Stage 3:Could've been fun but enemies are spawning (and moving) too slow. Should've been "defend the point for 4 minutes" instead of "kill 24 enemies".>Stage 4:Could've been fun if you couldn't deal stagger to the main frog and enemies were either more agressive or attacked you in more predictable patterns so that positioning and tactics were more important.>Stage 5:Could've been fun if there were more mechanics and Effigy wasn't as passive>Stage 6:Pretty good, but there should've been 1 more gimmick and counterplay other than "just dodge lmao". The third Umbral stage was surprisingly the hardest, mostly due to not running a healer.Turns out most fights are a bit more fun if they last more than 30 seconds. It also made me realize even more how mediocre the leek is outside of her ult form and how painful it is to gain ult charge for her. A good support operator that can force apply electrification similar to Ardelia would do wonders for the leek.

It's very easy to pull off constantly in any fight.Meanwhile, the leek has to play advanced aerobics to get the most out of your sp bar. If we get a somewhat better elec caster and an actual elec supporter the leek will shine, but until then, she's bench material for actual harder content.
