It's also created a need for her to step up her abilities to keep pace with Sonic and his friends. Without it, she'd still just be some completely normal girl. You could make a pink hedgehog OC in Forces and it would be as impactful as Amy without any of the things she's been inspired to do or become because of Sonic.Also Amy's move sets from SA1/Heroes/Advance 1 are really good. I've said it before, but I'm fine with her Frontiers kit, I just wish it was more informed by her older moves and her hammer more than it is the cards. The cards don't really add anything she couldn't already do in one game or another, at least off the top of my head. Card spin? Hammer spin. Cart float? Hammer float. Cyhammer? Normal hammer attack. Card attack? ...Still a normal hammer attack. The boost is probably the only good example, and it also has her pull out her hammer. It can stay.
