The new forum dedicated to team composition makes me think that we might actually never get draft in this game outside of competitive, which is interesting. It certainly helps with a few things, reduces the amount of characters each player has to learn, reduces game complexity, lets people play the role they want more often without having to split queues. Basically just let the game figure it out. The problem being that they have to get the algorythm really right so it doesn't feel like you lost because the game gave you a bad comp.

They can't buff graves or fix her by changing numbers, yoshi needs to fundamentally change her kit because everything in her kit is counterable, as long as you're good enough at the game you can render her 1, 2 and 4 completely fucking useless, making her effectively one fourth of an actual hero, worse yet she doesn't have a 4th ability since it's a passive, even her gun which is the strongest part of her pathetic kit is countered by simply moving back and out of her very short range, even if she tries to chase her having below average mobility puts her at an inherent advantage where it's easy to avoid her gun in most situations.She's basically the inverse of dyanmo who can always counter the enemy team with his rather heavy handed kit, I-framing himself and his team out of lash/Infernus/apollo ults while having a huge heal and an ult that hard CCs in a large AOE area, really you can't counter dynamo's kit or at least it's very hard to do so, whereas as graves it's very hard to do anything since everything in your kit is easily counterable.Characters like mina or celeste get to simply do their damage while moving everywhere with the only counters to their kits being items whereas graves is countered by stuff that is inherent to every hero in the game.TLDR:-they can't buff graves, they need to fundamentally change how her shit works
i sure wish my "weak" and "easily countered" hero that "does no damage" could be postured at dealing around 10-20% less damage than carries, while investing 4 times as much money into greens as they did

To explain I primarily main Graves, and she is basically the character that defines me, and I adore her. I think the issue is the fact that I feel like I only have fyn playing as her.Just the way you play her, specifically with her Gun Builds is fun for me, and just way more fit for what type of player I am. Plus she is kinda similar to the type of characters I play in other games, like Pyro in TF2 or Diva/Mei in Overwatch.The only other character that comes is probably Ivy which is why I choose her as my secondary, but she isn't necessarily as fun as Graves to me at least, and the third character I tend to just flip flop between Paige and Drifter, with mixed results. I tend to queue with Drifter more because for some reason when I queue with him and Ivy specifically, my chances of getting a Graves match increases by a lot, especially if I put her in high priority. Whereas with Paige, for some reason I tend to get her a lot even when Graves is highest priority.Point is I haven't found a character which seem to reach the same amount of fun I have with Graves, and I'm wondering based on the Character I main who do you think I can play, and have just as much with.
