Ok so decided to read the Obody troubleshooting guide, and after trying the RM ini edits, the game seems to be stable now. Even had a big fight with a ton of NPCs spawning in so it was a good test and it held up perfectly. Hopefully it was just this config I had to edit and everything else works. We can probably judge the attention to detail in The Elder Scrolls 6 if we look at people's feet.
