I think it was Arcanum but I remember you need to have a certain level of charisma AND be a certain race just to access the only romance in the game. More games should do that. Stats are supposed reflect your characters physical appearance. Some half orc or gnome with 7 CHA isn't going to romance someone like Camellia or Galfrey.

Charisma is more or less just a stat indicator of how much the world is about you and not a naturally deterministic reality like real life. The fact is if you're play a character with more than 5 CHA, you're a self-insert mary sue. But that's par for the course with all owlcat games.
