what ACTUALLY sucks about Rogue Trader is the itemization. only weapons and armor have a conceptually predetermined purpose, everything else is a trinket that may or may not perform any function. your boots can be MP boots, they can be dodge boots, they can be momentum boots, recoil boots... and your trinkets and necklace and cape, they can be fucking ANYTHING, and there's no generic baseline purpose to compare to like in pathfinderit's fucking insane going from a nice clear game like diablo 1 where you can immediately tell if an item is worthless or not because there's a specific function you want for one of your slots to contribute the most to your character, and then there's fucking rogue trader where you have to swap between + skill check gear and + combat bonus gear and then decide if you want +25% crit chance or +10% crit damage or +10 ballistic skill or +1 rate of fire gloves
