Sonic pretty much spends the whole comic doing cool shit and hyping up Yuuta.And I don't mean this as a criticism of the comic, its by design; and for a lot of fans that is the right way to use Modern Sonic. The problem with IDW is that it goes to great lengths to seperate teh comic cast from the game cast, rather than letting then allowing them to develop unique interactions with the game cast (i.e. Whisper and Shadow)

The West sees Sonic and friends as the main characters and tries to write stories around them, but while Modern Sonic is usually the protagonist of the story, he and his friends were always set up to support and facilitate other the development of other characters (i.e. Chaos, Shadow, Elise, Chip, etc.) But some western writers kinda get it.

Wanted to try my hand at a tenrec girl parallel for shadow.
